What is My Home My Say?

My Home My Say is helping people who have a learning disability in Northamptonshire to make a plan (a housing strategy).

The plan will tell the Council and other people about what housing and support people want in the future.

In the past the Council talked to people then made a plan and told everyone about it.

The Council will not write this plan.

The Council will support people to decide what they want and will help to make the plan happen.

This is called co-production.

Co-production is about helping each other.

Co-production is about doing things together.

The balance of power is equal.

You can be part of the group to help make the plan and think about how and where you would like to live, who you want to live with.

There are lots of ways for you to get involved.

There is also lots of information about how the plan will be made and what has already happened.
